Encaustic Work

Several years ago I discovered several artists that were incorporating melted beeswax into their mixed media and photographic work. Their results were ethereal and beautiful and I decided to give it a try. Despite some truly horrific beginnings, I love the process and now use it almost exclusively with all of my framed pieces.
